The Bosch GLL 2-20 is the Horizontal Cross-Line Laser Designed  for Everyday Use

Laser offers 360° precision and professional capability plus fast setup

Las Vegas, Nev., Feb. 3, 2015 – The Bosch GLL 2-20 360° Horizontal Cross-Line Laser delivers everyday convenience and precision. And like all Bosch lasers, it’s easy to use. The 360° line coverage gives the user the ability to  line up an entire room from one setup point. It also features a vertical projection of 120°.

The strong 360° horizontal line allows the user to project a laser reference line around the room with accuracy to quickly establish level, enabling users to work in different parts of the room simultaneously. Bosch GLL 2-20 range is 65 ft. diameter. Accuracy is ± 3/16" at 30 ft.

Combined with the exclusive Bosch Smart Pendulum System, the GLL 2-20 offers self-leveling, one-time setup and an out-of-level warning indicator. In addition, the system automatically locks when switched off. The pendulum lock protects the most sensitive component of the laser for easy and safe transport.

Single vertical, single horizontal, horizontal/vertical lines together and lock/manual modes cover all of the bases. The unit projects two lines independently or together for a wide array of level, plumb or layout applications. Manual mode allows users to project a line at any angle.

“The GLL 2-20 provides the versatility and ease of use for professionals who want the functionality of a cross-line laser,” said Prerna Srivastava, product manager, line lasers, BOSCH POWER TOOLS. “But with a 360° horizontal line, the tool requires a single setup for leveling all around the room for ultimate jobsite efficiency. The 120° vertical line still allows the user to enjoy the benefits of a cross-line laser such as wall layouts. It’s a tool that offers the best of both worlds without breaking the bank.”

Accessory is Important

A highlight of the Bosch GLL 2-20 is the versatile BM3 positioning device that comes with the unit. This mount allows the laser to be used in many different ways thanks to retractable feet for on-floor setup, strong magnets for attaching to steel studs, a ceiling grid clamp for quick attachment to wall channels and a slot for screws. The Bosch Microfine Height Adjustment System means quick adjustment and setup to benchmark.

Users include drywallers, framers, cabinet installers, carpenters, HVAC installers, electricians, general contractors, ceiling grid installers and tile specialists.
