Bosch GLL 30 Provides Self-Leveling Precision in a Basic Cross-Line Laser

Bosch MM2 flexible mounting device allows laser to do the job almost anywhere

Mt. Prospect, Ill., April 26, 2016 – A basic self-leveling cross-line laser doesn’t mean lack of versatility or precision as long as the product in question is the Bosch GLL 30 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser.  This compact unit offers self-leveling cross-line laser projection with the ability to lock lines at any angle to offer great flexibility. It has highly visible cross-lines with a range of 30 ft. with 5/16" accuracy.

The Bosch GLL 30 delivers productivity in a wide array of leveling and alignment applications by projecting cross lines with an integrated one-switch locking pendulum and the ability to lock lines at any angle, which adds value over a typical line laser.  The ergonomically-designed Bosch GLL 30 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser provides cross-line lasers for outstanding job setup in a compact package.

Bosch’s Smart Pendulum System assures self-leveling accuracy and indicates out-of-level condition. The pendulum system locks when switched off to assure secure tool transport. The Bosch GLL 30 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser features an ergonomic construction with a comfortable and soft-grip design.

“Basic functionality doesn’t mean the tool isn’t versatile. That’s certainly the case with the Bosch GLL 30,” said Jessica Davies, product manager, measuring tools, BOSCH POWER TOOLS. “This tool has very bright cross-lines lines at 30 ft., can lock lines at any angle, and comes with a flexible mounting device that clamps on virtually any surface to project lines from any height or angle, which for many professionals and DIYers is what’s needed. It’s small and compact, but it gets the job done with precision.”

The Bosch GLL 30 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser comes with the MM 2 flexible mounting device that ensures quick setup in freestanding mode or for stairway installations. It has micro fine height adjustment, which enables the user to adjust the working height of the device and then lock it. The mounting device allows the Bosch GLL 30 to be clamped on virtually any surface (from 1/2 in. to 2-1/4 in. thickness) to produce level lines at any height or virtually any angle.

The Bosch GLL 30 Self-Leveling Cross-Line Laser comes with an MM 2 flexible mounting device and two AA batteries.
