Bosch HMD636RL Daredevil Recessed Lighting Hole Saw is 10x Faster in Multiple Materials

1-1/4" shallow depth cup makes holes faster and lasts longer for recessed lighting installations in ceilings or walls

Las Vegas, Nev., Feb. 3, 2015 – The Bosch HMD636RL Daredevil Recessed Lighting Hole Saw is 10x faster1 and delivers longer life versus carbide grit hole saws. Sharp Bosch premium carbide teeth, deep gullets and a 1-1/4" depth cup design make fast work of varied ceiling materials that include drywall, plaster with wooden lathe, plywood, ceiling tile, cement board, fiberglass and MDF. Hole saw diameters are 4-3/8" and 6-3/8" (for standard 4 in. and 6 in. lighting placements).

The recessed lighting hole saw also employs a closed-back design that works with sharp teeth and deep gullets to reduce dust on the jobsite versus open-back carbide grit options.

Remodelers, electricians, general contractors, residential and com-mercial builders will find the Bosch Daredevil Recessed Lighting Hole Saw to be the right accessory for drilling holes in ceilings or walls.

The standard threaded cup with pins is compatible with standard hole saw arbors and makes change out quick and easy. And the recessed lighting hole saw comes complete with a ¼" hex shank pilot bit.

“The Bosch Recessed Lighting Hole Saw is about speed and life, and research says life is key to users,” said Jared Schmidt, product manager, hole saws and oscillating tool blades, BOSCH POWER TOOLS. “Who wants to change hole saws all the time when the application is a ceiling? Carbide technology is preferred for this application and provides unparalleled life in abrasive materials. Everyone on the jobsite will appreciate that.”

To qualify as a Bosch Daredevil product, a power tool accessory must be best-in-class for speed, life or ease of use. The Bosch Daredevil Recessed Lighting Hole Saw offers best speed and life.
