The blade's segment design reduces friction between segment and concrete based on regular segment length and spacing between segments. Each of the cutting segments on the 7" blade is laser welded to the steel core for high mechanical strength and rigidity, and to allow better stability during the cut. In addition, this production method makes each blade more durable and the cutting action more stable.

Bosch 7" Premium Segmented Rim Diamond Blades work with large angle grinders and can be used with some circular/worm drive saws. A diamond rhombus-shaped knockout makes the blade compatible with worm-drive circular saws.
