Variable speed with reversing switch ensures maximum control over mixing jobs that range from paint to mortar
Las Vegas, Nev., February 2, 2016 – Almost everyone needs a handy mixer on the jobsite; a tool like the Bosch GBM9-16 Mixer – a professional-grade, heavy-duty material mixer. Its variable speed control allows for both forward and reverse mixing, providing the high-torque necessary for most mixing jobs.
The nine-amp, all-ball bearing motor and precision-cut steel gears deliver maximum torque of 767 In.-Lbs. with maximum no-load rpm of 0-550. A 1/2" keyed chuck supports mixing accessories for this heavy-duty tool. An ergonomic soft-grip trigger with reversing switch provides greater control combined with a two-finger trigger design with lock-on button for fast and easy material mixing.
“Users are looking for a material mixer that has the power necessary to mix a variety of materials,” said Mike Iezzi, product manager, corded products, BOSCH POWER TOOLS. “The Bosch GBM9-16 addresses mixing jobs with a professional-quality power tool. This is a tool that delivers.”
A tough, lightweight magnesium front housing offers increased durability. The 360-degree adjustable auxiliary handle eliminates vibration while allowing the user to adjust to the desired position. An extra-long eight-foot rubber cord with three-prong ground plug offers greater versatility on the jobsite.
Mixing materials range from paint, sealing compounds and epoxies to glue, varnish, mortar and grout. Typical users include drywallers, painters, tilers, flooring and carpet installers.
